Fishing Report End of Summer 14'
Sorry for the lack of reports. Been on the water catching fish. Summer is winding down and Fall is fast approaching. With days getting shorter and water temps falling Fall fishing will be here before we know it. Look for shad to start their move into creek mouths and 1/4 way back first, topwater, spoons, and crankbaits are my primary weapons in early Fall. The bite will remain good through September until we reach the dreaded Fall Turnover. Drop me a line fast and lets plan a trip while I still have a few days remaining in September. Here's a couple of recent pics
Check out my "Recent Catch's" photo gallery for more pics. LB

Fishing Report May/June 2014
Sorry for the lack of reports. I've been slammed and I'm sure everyone understands that having a family-life after the lake, the last thing I want to do most days is sit in front of a computer :') Here's a quick report and pics from recent trips.

Fishing Report June 7th, 2014 - Rick Shoup Allatoona
Crappie: Fish are being caught using Big Bite 1/8 oz crappie jigs tipped with a 2" Triple Tip Lemon Meringue grub long-lined in 20-30ft of water. Fish the break lines!
Spotted Bass: Good quality spotted bass are crushing topwater baits early around main lake and secondary points. Throw Strike King Sexy Dawgs in the sexy shad color or a Big Bite 6" Super Shad swim bait (bream color) fished with a 5/0 Gamakatsu wide gap weightless hook. Both of these baits can be fished with 15# Berkley Big Game monofilament line. Remember to fish SLOW. As the sun gets up, go to a drop shot concentrating on main lake points from 19-25ft. With all the boat traffic on the weekends, a lot of bass are schooled in the mouths of main lake pockets. Use your graph to locate these fish then drop down on them.

Fishing Report April 2014
Sorry for the lack of reports as of late, things are crazy busy for me right now. Let me start by saying I only a few openings in May and still plenty of prime openings for June, July, and August. The Summer bite is my favorite of the year, great time to get the family/clients out and show them a good time. Always plenty of fish to go around during the Summer! Drop me a line and lets reserve your family trip this summer! Now here's a quick report and some pics. "Recent Trips" Gallery is updated too, so check out our latest pics there.

Fishing Report March 2014
The bite is improving daily it seems. Water temps are holding approx 52-54, we have 2 nights this week dropping into the 20's but the high's will creep up into the mid-upper 50's and with any sun our temps should hold above 50 each day. If we get through this, we should be in the clear for a steady climb and in temps and the bite. I've been working a variety of patterns to catch my fish.

Fishing Report late January 2014
Fishing remains consistent despite the extremely cold conditions. Stripers and Spotted Bass seem active thrughout the day. We've averaged 10-12 Spotted Bass per day and 2+ Stripers each trip over the past few weeks. Check out some of these beautiful fish

Fishing Report January, 2014 New Year
Well, Happy New Year! 2013 was such a good year I hate to see it go honestly. I hope all of you and your families had a safe and happy Christmas Season. I know one thing, it hasn't been a "dry" holiday season LOL. I read that December 2013 was a record for rain accumulation. Despite these conditions the fish showed up and showed off, big time. Check out the recent catch's gallery to see some of the monster Stripers and Spotted Bass we put in the boat over the past few weeks.
The weather is looking brutal for January but don't let that stop you from getting on the pond. If we must, we'll start later to avoid the extreme temps and trust me, the fish will still bite :) Drop me a line if interested in getting out and chasing a big Spot or Striper.
I'll be running 4 Party Boat trips starting January 25th, see the homepage for details. This is a great way to get a guide trip for less than $100. I'll also be announcing some Sonar Trip specials for the month of February too so keep an eye on the homepage and as always Facebook for the latest details. Good luck out there. LB
