Sorry for the lack of reports.  Always follow the "Recent Catch's" gallery for updated photo's added every few days.  Also follow us on Facebook to see daily pictures from the water.  Here's a quick fishing report and updated lake conditions.

First off:  THE RAMPS ARE OPEN FOR LAUNCH BUT OFFICIALLY CLOSED, if that makes sense LOL.  I've had a ton of people texting/emailing/calling about the ramp closures.  The parks are all closed but they have opened the gates and are allowing people to launch.  

Now for the fishing report. 

Sorry for the lack of reports as of late, but as you can see we've been working hard on the new website.  Please let me know how you like it.  

Fall is finally here!  Fish are scattered but are biting consistently.  Lots of topwater action as is typical for September/October.  

Today is August 23rd and the bite out there today was awesome.  We boated 30+ Spotted Bass and a monster Hybrid in 4 hours of fishing, and we pulled off 2 big schools of biting fish just to look for "bigger" and better things.

Today is Monday August 5th and 2 of the past 3 days have been over 90 degrees!  Is it possible Summer is finally here?  :)  It's been a cool Summer for us,  but the fish are biting and we are having a blast.  Check out the pictures from this week including another monster Walleye 

The lake is in great shape.  Water temps are still in low 80's and the fish are still very scattered.  A typical Summer the majority of fish are deeper than 25ft, right now I believe there are more fish less than 20ft than there are deeper most days.  Strange but we're still catching good numbers of fish and having a fantastic Summer here at Carters.  Check out some of these big Spotted Bass we've boated over the past few days.
