Still haven't been out all that much lately, been enjoying my mini break. Breaks almost over though, I'll be wide open again after this week thankfully. Friday nights major storms really screwed up the water.  The lake is way up and stained in a few places, not to mention cooler. 

Water temp as of Sunday was 54-55 and I expect it will be even colder at least for a day after tonight's low of 25! The bite despite the poor water conditions and hurricane style winds wasn't bad. We fished from 8am-1pm boating 9 keepers w/ biggest around 3lbs. Spot Sticker Jig Heads rigged with Big Bite Finesse Worms and Flukes both produced fish along with a couple biting a Spooky Shad McStick. I stayed shallow most of the time and boated 6 of our fish in less than 20ft, but my biggest fish were deeper.

I also ran across a few Turkeys on Sunday. There were approx 15-20 on this hill side but these guys had no problem hanging around close enough to get a picture.
