My Sponsors

I couldn't do the job I do without my generous sponsors. They help offset the cost of doing business, and in return, I show people the best of what they have to offer. But I don't accept sponsorship from just anybody. I depend on my gear in order to pay my mortgage, and I only accept the best for my clients and my business. I choose to use my sponsor's products 1st, then arrange sponsorship 2nd. This means that each of my sponsors have my Seal of Appoval, and you have my word they are the best in the business.

Here they are in no particular order:

strike king lure companyI am very proud to be part of Strike King, and I have to extend a special thanks to Hook n’ Look's Kim Stricker and Mark Copley with Strike King for making this deal happen. Strike King has been a leader in this industry for many years and their products are some of the best around.

This sponsorship means that my clients can try the latest in Strike King products before buying them, and their product line is so large and diverse, that you can fish with Strike King tied on 12 months out of the year. Check out their full lineup at StrikeKing.com.

strike king lure company If you've been on my boat, chances are that I've put a St.Croix rod in your hand. Their lineup of products spans the full spectrum of rods for every angler; from budget-minded Rage Series to the latest generation, pro performance Legend Extreme Series. Whether or not I have this sponsorship, I'll use St.Croix rods.

bigbiteThe guys at Big Bite never cease to impress me. They continue and continue to come out with the soft plastics I need to catch fish. They seem to excel in every category: color, shape, texture, action, durability, price,...

I use Big Bite primarily in the warmer months to finesse fish big spots off of the bottom. Drop-shot, jig-head, Carolina or Texas rig, and even wacky-rig are all arrangements I use with these products. Look for my product reviews on www.biggeorgiaspots.com

If any of these techniques are curious to you, or you want to see what Big Bite products are all about, give me a call and I'll show them to you.

Spro angling productsSPRO Corp. is well known among professional anglers as a leading lure maker, yet the general fishing community is largely un-aware of just how good their products are. ---which some of the most winning tournament anglers prefer! Elite Series angler Dean Rojas is SPRO's flagship Pro, and if you follow the BASS tour, you know how successful he is.

I am regularly stocked with the best hard baits from SPRO, and regularly depend on them to put big spots in the boat. Book a trip with me and I'll show you more about this great company's products.

HumminbirdEveryone knows my favorite game is spotted bass. And one of the defining characteristics of spots is "off shore". If you're a bank-beater, you simply won't excel at catching spots until you learn how to get offshore and use your electronics.

In 2010, I switched to using all Humminbird gear on my boat. They were the orginal developers of Side Imaging, and I use this incredible technology almost every day to locate fish. Their products are made to last, and are backed by Humminbird's dependable customer service. I specialize in educating clients on how to use and interpret sonar--If sonar is a weakness for you, book a trip!

BGS OfficialBig Georgia Spots is an internet magazine dedicated to all kinds of fishing---not just spots! My good friend, Adam Broughton and I founded the site in April of 2011, and since then it has really taken off as a resource for all kinds of fishing topics.

Often when I'm on the water, I think of topics of interest that are key to getting the bites. It's these topics that turn into the articles you see on BGS. We try to bring you the most informative, direct, and useful information you need to put fish in your boat.

Please visit the site and browse around. I promise you'll love it!

dugout The Dugout is several things: a retail store, a tackle distributor, a live bait dealer/distributor, and a center for some of the best fishing advice you can find on fishing gear, fishing locations, techniques, and all kinds of stuff. Mr. Craig Miller is the man behind it all, and he really knows his stuff. The store is on the northwest side of Atlanta, and a little off the beaten path, but well worth a visit!

sunline-logo2I am VERY particular when it comes to fishing line. A client may only get one shot at a trophy spot, and I simply can't afford to let them miss it because they were using an inferior line that I gave them.

Sunline is some of the best line I have ever used, and you'll find it spooled on just about every rod on my boats. Castability, breaking strength, line diameter, low memory,...these guys get it right. I have depended on Sunline to win tournaments and help clients make memories. I highly reccomend their line for your rods.
