Fishing continues to improve.  My guys have boated some really big Spotted Bass this week fishing both deep and shallow, but primarily deep.

Not much has changed in the way of patterns.  Early morning we've caught fish on flat sided Crankbaits and Spro Mcstick 110's working shallow points and flats leading into creeks.  After 9am or so we've switched to the deep bite and have done most of our damage out there.  Spotsticker Jigheads rigged w/ Big Bite soft plastics have been the main weapon, football jigs, and drop shots have played too.

For you guys getting out after the white fish this weekend.  I've ran some combo trips lately and have hooked some big Stripers and have been un-lucky getting em to the boat but they are out there and they are biting, especially early.  Downline 6-7 inch Trout 50-70ft over submerged timber all over the lake.  It's been my experience as of late the fish will not come far so put the baits close to the timber tops.  If you increase your DI (down imaging) Sensitivity you can see if the fish are in the trees.  That's helped me find some fish lately.  Good luck getting em out of there, but it's fun to try LOL.
