Fishing for Walleye is slowly gaining popularity in Georgia, and my home lake of Carter's Lake has one of the best populations of big walleye in the south. This northern fish been stocked in many north Georgia lakes in the last decade or so, and occasionally, someone will pull a few good ones out.

 
Walleye are some of the tastiest fish you could ever catch. And there are a few times of year, particularly in the spring and fall, when walleye are almost reliable as a gamefish.  April, May, late August, and September are great months to hire my services to target Walleye.

 
This is a species that I am continuing to hunt, and continuing to get better at locating and catching. My home lake, Carter's Lake, has one of the best populations of walleye, and if you want to get after these bad boys, send me a booking request.
