I've heard numerous rumors over the years that the spots in Parksville actually came from Carter's Lake.  I have to agree, the fish look similar in build and their markings are identical to those in Carters Lake.  If this is true, it is a big No-No, but what's done is done, and on the bright side it did fill a major void in Parksville Lake. 

IF the bite on Carters is slow, Parksville Lake is a great alternative.  Come experience the mighty Coosa River Spotted Bass with me!!!
